Caloosahatchee Regional Park
A 768-acre park of flatwoods, scrub oak, cypress swamps and oak hammocks divided by North River Road.
More than 20 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, plus kayaking, tent camping, fishing and a river overlook. Use the right entrance: south side for walking and river access, north side for biking and equestrian use. Paid county parking applies; confirm the current rate.
