Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Snowbird Living collects when you use snowbird.club and how it is used.

Age

Accounts are for people 18 and older.

Information you give us

• Account details: first and last name, email and password (or sign-in through Google or Apple).
• Your optional choice to receive Snowbird Living news, updates, Passport Perks and offers, and when you made it.
• Business owners: listing details, logos and photos, and claim or new-business requests.
• Property advertisers: listing details, photos, contact details and verification information (legal name, phone, role, and brokerage/license details for real estate professionals). Hidden street addresses are stored privately.
• Messages sent through property inquiry and Media Kit/advertising request forms.
• Passport Perk activity: perks you unlock and stamps added to your Passport.

Information collected automatically

• Counts of listing views, perk views and unlocks, and sponsor ad views and clicks, used for business and advertiser statistics.
• Your browser stores a few small items on your device to keep you signed in, remember your selected location and remember where to return after sign-up.
• We do not currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; we keep records of your subscription or purchase status.

Third-party services

• Stripe (payments), Google and Apple (optional sign-in), our hosting and database provider, and our email delivery service for account and inquiry emails.
• Embedded Instagram posts and the Issuu digital Passport reader load from those services, which have their own privacy policies.
• The newsletter sign-up link takes you to Kit (snowbird.kit.com), which has its own privacy policy.

How we use information

To run your account and membership, display listings, process payments, deliver inquiries to advertisers, review listings and images, prevent abuse, provide statistics to businesses, and send marketing emails only if you opted in. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and account deletion

Change your marketing preference anytime. To request a copy, correction or deletion of your information, email support. Deletion is handled by request; there is no self-service delete button.

Data retention

We keep account information while your account is active. Payment, subscription and tax records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. Perk redemption history keeps a snapshot of the offer for your Passport history. [Legal review: specific retention periods after an account is deleted — not yet defined]
