Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail

Save

Lakeside trail with Clewiston and Moore Haven access points.

Hendry and Glades counties. Approximately 110 miles lakewide (not the local segment length), more than half paved and the remainder two-track gravel. Access points include Clewiston East/West, Liberty Point, Moore Haven East/West, Fisheating Creek North/South, Harney Pond Canal and Indian Prairie Canal. No trail-use fees or permits; the Corps directs visitors to the U.S. Forest Service for the latest trail status — do not assume every section is unobstructed.
